Lois Robinson

The tranquil shores of Balsam Lake, Lois’ home for 23 years, provide much of the inspiration for the soft pastel paintings for which she is known. Her paintings depict the wildlife found there with rich colour and a unique style.

“My paintings are moments in time, captured in colour, patterns, and above all, light. Pastels have a luminous quality that reflects light and catches the eye to invite a closer look.”

Lois’ pastel paintings have been displayed on several calendars and hang in corporate and private collections in Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
